① Improvement of performance

■ Improvement in excitation force

When compared with the conventional i & J series, the A series increases the relative excitation force.

■ Standard 76.2mmp-p displacement
*Only for A30,A45, A65

A-series has a displacement of 76.2 mmp-p (3 inch stroke) which gives good balance between specification of velocity, acceleration and displacement. This single system can be used in a very wide variety of tests.Standard 76.2mmp-p displacement

■ Increase in frequency range

In addition to the increased displacement of 76.2mmp-p, the maximum frequency range is also increased when compared to the i, and Jseries.

■ Cross-axis acceleration reduction

A series dramatically reduces cross-axis (crosstalk) acceleration (horizontal vibration). Highly accurate testing is achieved.

A-series(EM amplifier model)provides a maximuim of 3.5m/s shock velocity testing which has not been possible with standard conventional systems(i,J-series).

  • 1 Random force ratings are specified in accordance with ISO5344 conditions. Please contact IMV or your local distributor with specific test requirements.
  • 2 Power supply: 3-phase 200/220/380/400/415 V (A74 is AC380/400/415 V), 50/60 Hz. A transformer is required for other supply voltages.
  • 3 Breaker capacity for AC 200 V.
  • 4 Breaker capacity for AC 400 V.
  • 5 Above 4000 Hz, the force rolls-off at a rate of -6 dB/oct.
  • 6 Above 2000 Hz, the force rolls-off at a rate of -12 dB/oct.
  • 7 Spec described above is in case of 60Hz. Dimension is changed in case of 50Hz.
  • 8 Export license is required for exporting the shaker system of over 50 kN Sine force.
  • The specification shows the maximum system performance. For long-duration tests, de-rating by up to 70 % must be applied. Continuous use at maximum levels may cause failure. Please contact IMV if you use more than 70 %.
  • In the case of Random vibration test, please set the test definition of the peak value of acceleration waveform to be operated less than the maximum acceleration of Shock.
  • Frequency range values vary according to sensor and vibration controller.
  • Mass and dimensions may change for CE-marked systems.
  • Armature mass and acceleration may change when chamber is combined.
